Things you should know about MBA Abroad

An MBA degree is indeed a great investment. Pursuing an MBA is a wise decision because an MBA degree prepares you to face more challenges in the career and equip yourself to meet the needs of the managerial position in the industry. However, there are many options for qualifying an MBA degree in India but MBA abroad is still considered as one of the most in demand option as it enhances your chances to settle to abroad and earn a better managerial position in a reputed organisation or company. For every student planning to enrol in an MBA degree should understand that achieving a master of business administration, MBA from a reputed business school only comes from hard work and dedication. Off course, a great business school helps a lot in scoring well and obtain an MBA degree successfully but at the same time, it is the hard work of students and the faculty in successfully obtaining an MBA degree. 

Getting admission in any of the top business school is not an easy task. Candidates have to pass the entrance examinations conducted to select eligible and deserving candidates. Today, a wide range of students from different disciplines are attracted by the MBA entrance exams where by many aspirants take CAT, MAT and CMAT entrance examination. CMAT is a common management admission test which is computed based online test conducted by the all India council for technical education (AICTE). CMAT is a national level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable and deserving candidates for the admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE. 

The first edition of CMAT was conducted in 2012 where around 4 lakhs seats in the AICTE approved management programmes in India have been announced to be covered under the test. The 2012 CMAT was conducted from 20th to 29th February 2012 and the results were declared on 11 March, 2012 which came out to be highly rewarding. CMAT is a three hour test conducted during a period of nine days in two shifts at 61 locations. Today, approx 4000+ B-schools recognised by AICTE are expected to accept the CMAT. Graduates with 50% in any discipline are eligible to apply for the CMAT test. Additionally, final year students of graduate courses can also apply for the same. CMAT and mat are the Indian standards for getting admission into MBA but for MBA abroad, there are international standards and rules set by different universities and institutes. Therefore, for every candidate aspiring to enrol in an MBA abroad, it is important to know the requirements and rules associated with it.
