Eligibility Criteria for CMAT Exam 2012


CMAT is the contraction for Common Management Admission Test. It is performed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The examination is primary for admission into few of the best management schools, and for admittance into MBA programs. The applicants that are anticipated to take the CMAT test in the year 2012, stands at a figure of approximately 250,000.

CMAT 2012 Eligibility Condition:
Following are the eligibility orders that require being satisfied so as to appear for the CMAT 2012:

 ·    The applicant must be a graduate in any power with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any of the Universities included by an act of the central or state government in India or other educational organizations established by an act of parliament or acknowledged to be considered as a university under segment 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
 ·       Otherwise, the candidate must have an equivalent qualification documented by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
·      As well, students in the final year of the degree course might also apply subject to convinced conditions as set by AICTE.

There will be total of 100 questions and the duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. The CMAT paper will be divided into four parts of Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness; each section will be of 25 marks each.
